The [Collective]2024

Founding The [Collective] with a group of female designers from Kingston School of Art. To create a space for us to triumph female presenting designers as well as consider who we are as designers and where we place ourselves within the industry.

We hosted a collaborative workshop through the making of manifestos by sharing, cutting and pasting. Creating an archive of manifestos to then be cut and pasted to collage together a manifesto of our own. Helping us to define ourselves as creatives and our values. Also designing an identity for the group using brackets which provides a vessel to facilitate changes of who we are and what we want to be. Rather than assigning ourselves to one name, we are ever shifting.

Founding Members of The [Collective]:
Morwenna May, Bea Bartlett-Ellis, Tabitha Pengelly, Libby Gadd, Kumi Allen, Loren Tsang, Becca Whiteing, Maddy Whithouse, Loll Fraser and Eve Cox.
